The Mayil Pearl Centre Clip is a medium antique hair barrette in the style of South Indian temple jewellery. At the centre, Goddess Lakshmi stands in an oval frame, surrounded by red and green kemp-style teardrop stones fanned out like a peacock’s tail. On either side are engraved paisley and filigree panels with small gold flower details. The base is shaped like a crescent, and seven creamy pearl drops hang from gold bead caps along it, swaying as you move. Wear it at the centre of a bun or braid with a Kanjeevaram saree, a half saree or a lehenga. It’s made for weddings, muhurtham, poojas and festivals. It’s a limited drop and won’t be restocked once it sells out.
